There is only so much we can do! :) I read an article once, written by a mother, who said she has learned to let go of her expectations and give them to the Lord, and just take what comes instead! :) Far less disappointing, for starters, when things often don't go as planned! I am so HAPPY when I don't make things unrealistic for me, or for them, and I'm sure they must be, too. So glad you stopped by, and I'm even just now, sitting here with your blog open in a new tab waiting for me to catch up on the latest posts! So glad you all are settling in as well.Amy @ No Greater Honorshttp://nogreaterhonors.blogspot.comnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1587084510850003482.post-75499704791955735412014-10-17T15:47:57.440-05:002014-10-17T15:47:57.440-05:00Your post made me smile. We are just getting back ...Your post made me smile. We are just getting back to it, and I am afraid I too have expectations that are high, maybe too high. I wonder what would happen if we all were able to create accurate expectations and meet them on a regular basis. One thing on my to-do list each day is to take a deep breath and let go a little. If T takes 30 minutes to journal his completed work, well then that is how much time it took him to journal his work that day. There is time, I have other things to do and there is only so much I can do. Oh, and I try, try, try not compare myself to others. And THAT I fail at most of the time too. :) Thinking of you as things look up for you!Abbiehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/01348594488081598421noreply@blogger.com
